so much time has passed since I wrote anything. in my defence, i've been busy, we have so much to do at college. the upcoming week is the last one, well we do have review week after that but it doesn't count as an actual week since we hand in everything now. so, one semester has passed. incredible how fast time flies down here. it must mean we love it and that we're having fun. because we do have lots of fun.
we went out a bit on friday, went to the rag and famish when school finsihed, then went to ching a lings and oxford art factory. then me and sarah went past her work and then home. louise and the boys stayed out for longer and louise brought the boys to the gaff and gay night. i think they were thrilled.
i slept for 4 hours on friday, got up at 7.30 and went to school, started binding my typography book together, it looks great actually. i'm rather proud. i just need to get my a2 poster printed and then that assessment is finished.
i'm so ready for the holidays. i can't wait, not having to study. go to work then come home and not having any obligations. go out whenever i want, go to the beach. not being transparent which is the state my skin is in now.
mom and dad booked their flights down here now. theyll arrive january 5th and stay til january 21st. as soon as i'm finished at bb i'll dive into that and plan where we're going and when. i think it'll be sydney for a few days, then whitsundays and then i really really really want to go to melbourne. and then come back here for the last days and then they'll go back home. kim might come along, i really hope she is. wouldn't be the same without her and since we haven't seen eachother since summer 08 i really miss her. and if she's not coming i'll miss her 25th birthday.
today we've been studying, we went to pocket in darlinghurst and sat there all day. had a delicious brekkie and did do lots of work actually. im really in love with the eastern parts of the city (like everyone else) darlinghurst, surry hills, paddington. why we live here, in neutral bay, is a mystery. i don't even remember our reasons..well it's close to college. but now we have 4 months of non-college so why, oh why did we move here? anyway, it's kind of nice. sometimes.
on tuesday morning two extra persons are moving in with us. max and fredrika. it'll be so nice to see them! and i hope we can show them some fun bits of the city although it is our last week and we hardly have time to breath. but we'll squeeze some entertainment in. anyway, after this week i do have time! heaps, if i don't get a job. but actually i'm booked in to speak with the manager at mimco on george st tomorrow. i handed out som resumes on wednesday and they called me on friday so we'll see what happens there. fingers crossed. it would be so nice if i could work there!
now, i need to finish my presentation for tuesday. i'm kind of freaked out about it. i hate speaking in public. well i do love the attention just not in school.
