Glad påsk!

Today is easter saturday here in Sydney. Apparently the day they get easter eggs and candy here isn't til tomorrow but in Sweden it's on påskafton. Which is today. Lou and I have prepared a little egg hunt for the Sydney family. However, there's no such thing as easter eggs here, not in the swedish meaning of the word that is. They only have chocolate eggs, not the cardboard one's we have that you then fill upp with candy. So we had to compromise. They're not as pretty as could be but hey, they do the job!

On thursday we stayed at college until 8.30. We had class til 7 but then we stayed behind with teacher Mark. So now i've finished my website. It looks good I think. For my first go at least. Lou's almost done, she has a shadowbox taht doesn't want to co-operate but then hers will be done too!

Yesterday we went to the Terrace for some groupwork at 10. Just to find everyone decked out since they'd gone out the day before. They have a friend, Ben, over from Brisbane to visit over easter so thursday was his first night here. So we did what we usually do when we go there and find them all decked out. We wake them up. We had breakfast all together, then we did our studying. Then we baked them chocolate cake, played a few boardgames. Had picnic in the park and played around. We're going to an AFL game in a couple of weeks. I'm kind of excited. I miss the ice hockey. Then Lou and I walked home while brainstorming our little project. While home we continue studying til the wee hours of the night. We're such good students.

Now, we just woke up. It's sunny. It was supposed to be raining so I'm happy. It being easter and all I'm wearing my yellow betsy johnson dress. It's actually more white than yellow but yellow stands out more than white so a yellow dress it is. Its got angels sitting on clouds all over it. It's pretty and I love it but I rarely use it. I thought today would be a perfect occasion. So we're going over to the Terrace this afternoon for egg hunting and some fun n' games, then we're going out. But until then, my brain is devoted to my assignments.
